Using OutBack's PS2, elected loads - lights, refrigerator, computers, etc. - are fed through the AC distribution center of the PS2. During a power outage the OutBack inverter switches automatically to battery/solar power for added peace of mind and reliability.
Because the Outback is made in Washington State it qualifies the owner of the system for an extra 3 cents per KWH performance credit - totaling 18 cents per KWH credit. We are very pleased that the Washington performance based credit has been approved by KPUD and is on schedule to be implemented by the Washington DOR.
