Almost a year ago Gwen and Fred Bassetti of Seattle contacted me about how they could put renewable energy to work on their beautiful ranch outside of Goldendale, Washington. I immediately got them in touch with Ed Kennel and the good people at NWSeed. A grant program was drawn up to help the Bassettis install their 10KW Bergey wind generator. The site is exquisite - the 120' tower is visible for miles. We raised the tower on Sept 2nd and in its first 24 hours of operation the generator had produced over 100KWhours of electricity.
