Celebrating the Start of Year Five!
Wednesday, June 6, 2007 Seraphim Electric is excited about starting our fifth year of business. We are celebrating by introducing a new logo, launching a new web site (www.seraphimenergy.com) taking on a Energy Systems Design and Sales Specialist, and expanding into Oregon (OR CCB#175837). The new web site and Oregon expansion will be dedicated solely to renewable energy installations.

Late in May we also helped replace a 1980 Enertech wind machine at the Hoctor Ranch with a new Skystream 3.7. The old Enertech had some problems over the years. When asked why she stuck with it the owner said, "What would we be driving now if nobody ever gave old Henry Ford a chance?"

  Skystream and Solar Dreams
Thursday, December 28, 2006 Southwest Wind Power just came out with the latest in residential wind power and we are excitedly awaiting our first shipment. The first Skystream in the county is set to go in just bellow the Stonehenge WWI memorial, and the second on Luna Butte. Many more to follow. www.skystreamenergy.com

This fall we had another solar installation workshop through the WSU learning center and installed a sweet off grid system for a ranch on top of High Prairie: 15KW Onan propane generator; 7KW, 240V Outback Power System; 750AH Rolls/Surrette batteries; 1.5KW of Mitsubishi solar on a Wattsun, active tracker!

Grid Tie With Battery Back Up
Saturday, June 3, 2006 Recently finished a 3KW grid tied system using the Outback PS2 with battery back up interface.

Selected load is fed through the AC distribution center of the PS2 and switches automatically to battery/solar power in the event of a power outage.

Because the Outback is made in Washington State it qualifies the owner of the system for an extra 3 cents per KWH performance credit - totaling 18 cents per KWH credit. We are very pleased that the Washington performance based credit has been approved by KPUD and is on schedule to be implemented by the DOR.

  Generator Dealer
Thursday, February 2, 2006 We just established a great new partnership with GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS with a GUARDIAN standby generator dealership. For a full list of the models we sell and service click here.
